“Don’t try to run away from your suffering. Make peace with it, touch it.”

~Thich Nhat Hanh

“The moment you understand the nature of your suffering, the moment you know how your suffering has come to be, you are already on the path of release from it.”

~The Buddha

Facing our suffering and exploring mindfulness practices that offer freedom from suffering will form the base of the Plum Blossom Sangha 2016 retreat.

In addition to practicing together as a full community, we will have designated times to break into small groups according to one particular area on which you would like to focus.

In these small “family” groups on discriminatory thinking, loss, reconciling with your inner child and relationships, we will learn how to use various mindfulness practices to create more ease and calm in our lives.
